A fret lights up: name the note. Or the other way round: a note is asked for, tap the right fret. A few minutes a day is enough to know the whole neck.

How to make progress
Start with the natural notes up to the 5th fret, one string at a time, then widen to the whole neck and add sharps and flats.
Handy landmarks: the 12th fret gives the open-string notes again, an octave higher; and two frets up on the string two strings higher, you often find the same note an octave up.
